Our herd members are a vital part of our team in every session. Their barn identities are not shared as we want to allow each horse to become whatever character they might represent in a client's story.

MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL
MARLENA JOHNSON, LCSW
Marlena (Nina) is a licensed clinical social worker with experience helping adults in individual and group therapy. She provides therapy services for people experiencing mood disorders, emotional distress, interpersonal difficulties, or have a history of past trauma, or addiction. MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL
AMANDA RAY MELIAN, LCSW
Amanda specializes in working with people experiencing anxiety, recovering from trauma, pushing toward burnout, or navigating perinatal mood disorders like postpartum depression. Using an empowerment model and client-centered approach to therapy, she is committed to keeping clients at the helm of their own treatment. She obtained her Master's in Social Work, as well as certifications in Animal Assisted Social Work and Equine Assisted Mental Health Practitioning from the University of Denver. It is her joy and privilege to hold space for folks seeking to heal.

ALLISON WATSON
Allison (Ali) has spent nearly her entire life connected to horses in some way, shape, or form. She has a Master's degree in Education and spent 15 years teaching science, developing a lifelong love for growth and learning. Ali's mission is to provide a place where humans can come and be their authentic and real self, wherever they are at in their journey.

Providing small group camp experiences since 2016!
Liberty Reins horse camps are a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends, care for horses, and develop riding and horsemanship skills. Whether you've joined us for past camps or this is your first horse adventure, we look forward to coaching you at every level.

SUMMER CAMPS
For many, horse camp at Liberty Reins is the highlight of their summer! We run camps all throughout the summer so you'll be sure to find one that fits with your schedule. Activities will include (but are not limited to) feeding, watering, and grooming the horses, stall and paddock cleaning, general horse care, and a riding lesson each day. We love watching campers grow in their confidence and horse skills while developing lasting friendships with fellow campers and members of our herd.
WHO: We welcome all ages and levels of experience!
(note: ages 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult)

WHEN: Tuesday–Friday, 8 AM–1 PM
WHERE: Liberty Reins, 20560 Fernview Road, West Linn, OR 97068
COST: $500 each (min 4 campers needed)​​​​​​​​

​ $100 non-refundable deposit due to hold dates. Balance due the week before the first day of camp.
